Outreach

It is our social responsibility to nurture the next generation of book learners.

The single most important activity for building knowledge for
success in school and life is reading aloud to children.

We partner with elementary school teachers, administrators and librarians to organize story-times and read-alouds in disadvantaged and under-privileged communities where we live and serve.  We bring the magic of books to life and foster childrens’ inquisitive nature and love for reading, learning and adventure.

Operation 30k is our way to pay it forward.

30,000 is the number of words the average high school graduate comprehends.  In poorer communities, this number is lower on average.  Our mission is to help the most vulnerable students in need reach 30,000 words or more starting in grades K-5.  It is our hope that every child that we have the privilege of sharing the invaluable gift of reading will cultivate a seed of imagination, curiosity and achievement that inspires a lifetime of learning.

If you would like to participate in Operation 30k, we welcome your support, energy and talents and deserving children will be grateful.   Thank you for helping us spread knowledge for good and for growth.
